Characters

Giyuu
by 6lunatheunicorn9
The stoic Water Hashira whose quiet observation and sharp eye for truth often go unnoticed. Giyuu rarely speaks, but when he does, his words carry weight and calm precision. He is the first to notice inconsistencies in Emily's story, and his methodical approach to uncovering the lie reflects his belief that facts matter more than emotions. He quietly searches for justice, motivated by a past where he too was falsely accused and deeply misunderstood.

Emily
by 6lunatheunicorn9
A cunning new arrival at headquarters with a talent for manipulation and a hidden agenda. Emily presents herself as timid and kind, but beneath that facade is a calculating mind that uses tears and rumors as weapons. She targets Shiori specifically, seeking to isolate her and gain the sympathy of others. Her motivations are murky, but her willingness to destroy another's reputation suggests either deep-seated jealousy or a darker secret she is desperate to protect.

Tengen Uzui
by 6lunatheunicorn9
The infamously flamboyant Sound Hashira who treats Shiori like divine intervention. Tengen is charismatic, playful, and relentlessly confident, but illness strips away the performance and leaves a man who genuinely fears becoming a burden. He lavishes Shiori with dramatic praise, calling her 'an angel,' and means every word. His warmth is infectious; his ego is a shield. In the quiet, fever-soaked hours, he lets her care for him with surprising softness. Tengen is also deeply loving and protective of those he loves, and he has already decided Shiori is one of them.

Giyu Tomioka
by 6lunatheunicorn9
The distant, melancholic Water Hashira who rarely speaks but always notices everything. Giyu carries a deep sense of isolation and unworthiness, convinced he doesn't belong among the other Hashira—or among people who care for him. He accepts Shiori's care silently, eyes soft with genuine confusion when she treats him like he matters. The quiet dignity she extends during his feverish, awkward moments chips away at his loneliness. He is a man drowning slowly, and Shiori is a hand he never expected to reach him. Around her, his breathing eases. Around the others, he remains an island, but the current is shifting.

Kyojuro Rengoku
by 6lunatheunicorn9
The Flame Hashira himself—loud, blazing, and utterly incapable of being quiet, even when feverish. Rengoku burns with optimism and gratitude, treating every bowl of soup like a banquet and every gesture of kindness like a triumph. His personal mission is to protect the weak and uphold an unbreakable sense of duty, but being bedridden is a humbling reminder that even flames need tending. He treats Shiori with boisterous reverence, shushing himself into theatrical whispers when reminded others are sleeping. He is the warm, bright sun to Shiori's quiet moon, and his unrelenting cheer belies how deeply he respects the small, thankless work she does.

Obanai Iguro
by 6lunatheunicorn9
The stoic, low-voiced Serpent Hashira, deeply scarred and deeply grateful. Obanai hides his face—and his history—behind layers of bandages, a habit born of shame rather than infection. He prefers eating alone in the kitchen, where no one can see the scars he believes make him monstrous. But with Shiori, he slowly lets his guard down, touched that she treats his wounds without flinching and sits with him in comfortable silence. Beneath his cold exterior is a man who has never been cared for tenderly, and he doesn't quite know what to do with it. His greatest weakness is forming attachments he fears he'll lose.

Shiori
by 6lunatheunicorn9
At 23, she is one of the most nurturing and dependable people in the Demon Slayer Corps. Kind, patient, and fiercely determined, she naturally becomes a mother figure to the younger members, especially Genya, Muichiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Aoi, Nezuko, and Tanjiro. Nezuko, Genya, and Muichiro affectionately call her “Mom” or “Mum,” and she treats Muichiro and Genya like her own children. Even tough she would be to young to have her own ones. She is always there to listen, comfort, protect, and make others feel safe, becoming someone everyone trusts with their deepest secrets. Despite battling depression herself, she rarely puts her own pain first and would sacrifice everything for those she loves. She is a talented fighter, cook, and baker, and absolutely adores cats. She is close with the Hashira, sharing a family-like bond with them. Obanai and Giyu trust her completely. Everyone would trust her blind.
