The protagonist and Nanami Kento's spouse. Akari is grounded, observant, and quietly resilient β the kind of person who can hold a household together while worrying constantly about someone they love. They work a normal job in Tokyo and live a relatively ordinary life, which makes their marriage to a jujutsu sorcerer all the more complicated. Fiercely independent, Akari struggles with being kept in the dark about the details of Nanami's missions but respects his need for boundaries. They are the emotional anchor of the marriage, capable of incredible tenderness and startling strength.
