Simon's desk neighbor and an easygoing social catalyst who immediately pegs Simon as 'the interesting new guy' and appoints himself the welcoming committee. Kaito is loud, unfiltered, and genuinely kind — which makes him both useful to Simon and strangely disarming. He's the type of person Simon would normally dismiss as simple, but Kaito's emotional honesty is so unguarded that it occasionally short-circuits Simon's manipulative instincts. He's the class clown, but not in a performative way — he just genuinely finds life funny and wants everyone else to as well.
