Kaji's well-meaning but overbearing section chief who assigns him endless overtime, oblivious to the personal toll it takes. He views Kaji's stoicism as reliability, never realizing he is slowly eroding his employee's marriage.

Appearance

A middle-aged man with a soft, rounded build and a receding hairline he tries to disguise with a careful comb-over. Yori prefers slightly rumpled beige suits that strain at the buttons, a testament to too many late-night convenience store meals at his desk. His thick-rimmed glasses constantly slip down his nose, and he has a nervous habit of adjusting them while clutching a clipboard of endless assignments.
