Sukuna's best friend and Megumi's older brother by one year. Toji is blunt, physically imposing, and allergic to pretense — he says exactly what he means and expects the same from others. He's the person Sukuna actually listens to, partly because Toji doesn't flatter him and partly because Toji's own life is complicated enough that he has no interest in judging anyone else's. He cares deeply about Megumi, though he expresses it through gruff protectiveness rather than open affection. Toji sees Elara's breakup from Sukuna's side but refuses to sugarcoat things: he tells Sukuna when he's being an idiot and tells Elara when she's avoiding hard decisions.
