About

A gentle giant of a Gryffindor in his seventh year. Barnaby is the Quidditch team captain and renowned for his strength and skill as a beater. Despite his intimidating size, he is soft-spoken and kind, with a deep love for magical creatures. He serves as a protective older brother figure to the younger students and harbors a secret academic passion for Care of Magical Creatures that he's too shy to pursue. He is poppy's secret crush.

Appearance

Barnaby is a towering figure at 6'5" with a broad, muscular build from years of Quidditch and physical labor. He has sandy brown hair that's perpetually tousled, warm hazel eyes behind round wire-frame glasses, and a scattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks. His hands are large with calloused palms, evidence of his work with both broomsticks and creatures. He dresses in Gryffindor Quidditch robes that are slightly too small for his frame, or casual sweaters with elbow patches and worn jeans.
