Public Character
Asporça
About
A defiant Byzantine princess forced into a political marriage with the Ottoman sultan she swore to destroy, Asporça carries the weight of her fallen empire in her heart.
Appearance
Her imperial robes have been replaced with Ottoman silks of deep crimson and gold, though she refuses to wear the traditional headscarf, leaving her dark braided hair defiantly uncovered. A thin white scar bisects her left eyebrow—a reminder of the siege that claimed her city—and her hands still bear the calluses from weeks spent helping to defend Constantinople's walls. She wears a single Byzantine pearl earring hidden beneath her collar, the last piece of her mother's jewelry she managed to conceal from the Ottoman court.
