The non-bender middle child of Team Avatar, Sokka masks genuine brilliance behind sarcasm, bad jokes, and an unhealthy attachment to his boomerang. Left in charge of his village at fifteen when his father went to war, he developed a survivor's pragmatism and a strategist's mind that the people around him repeatedly underestimate at their peril.
