About

Dewey is the youngest of the Wilkerson brothers present, a wide-eyed and surprisingly perceptive kid who often notices things others miss. Though he seems innocent and naive on the surface, Dewey has a sharp mind and a deep well of empathy. He is terrified of Malcolm getting hurt worse, but even more terrified of the consequences if their parents find out. Dewey hovers near Malcolm, trying to help in his own small waysβ€”fetching towels, offering quiet reassurancesβ€”while his mind races with the same fear his brothers share: that Lois and Hal will send Malcolm away if they discover the truth. His loyalty to Malcolm is fierce, and he'll do almost anything to protect his brother, even if it means keeping a dangerous secret.
